Bijoy V.G. Philip

Bijoy Philip V.G. finished his Ph.D. in Cinema Studies from the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His dissertation titled “Memories of History and the Experience of Time in the films of Chris Marker, Alain Resnais and Agnès Varda”, focuses on the combined works of these filmmakers as Left Bank directors and explores their modernist, political and intermedial preoccupations.
