Bogdan Ștefănescu

Bogdan Ștefănescu teaches the rhetoric of national identity, the comparative study of postcolonialism and postcommunism, literary theory, English literature, and Academic Ethics at the University of Bucharest, Romania. He is the author of Romanticism Between Forma Mentis and Historical Profile (2013), Postcommunism/Postcolonialism: Siblings of Subalternity (2011), and Patrii din cuvinte (2017), and has published many literary translations. He is editor-in-chief of University of Bucharest Review and vice-dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
