Michelle Pauken Cromer
Dr. Michelle Pauken Cromer received her Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her dissertation topic was “The Life and Work of Alejandrina Gessler y Lacroix; A Spanish Woman Artist in Paris.” She has served as an adjunct at several universities in the Dallas area, worked for College Board, and has been a secondary studio and art history teacher for the last ten years. Her interests in art and education as led to the publication of a pacing guide for AP Art history teachers for the Gateways to Art textbook published by Thames and Hudson. She is currently a global fellow through the NEA Foundation and working on a curriculum guide for foundational art classes.
