Adrian Tudurachi is a researcher for the „Sextil Pușcariu” Institute of Linguistics and Literary History of the Romanian Academy. ESKAS Fellow of the Swiss Confederation (2002), Maison des Sciences de l'Homme fellow in Paris (2007), NEC link fellow (2008), postdoctoral researcher of the Romanian Academy (2010-2012). He published numerous articles and studies in academic journals, he edited „Identitatea naţională: realitate, istorie, literatură” (2008, with co-editor Ioana Bot), „Dus-intors. Rute ale teoriei literare in postmodernitate” (2016, with co-editors Oana Fotache and Magda Răduță), several critical editions of the work of Ioana Em. Petrescu. He is the first translator in Romanian of Jean Paulhan, „Florile din Tarbes” (2015). Most recent book: „Fabrica de geniu. Nașterea unei mitologii a productivității literare în cultura română, 1825-1875” [Genius Factory. The Birth of the Literary Productivity Mythology in Romanian Culture] (2016).
