Alexandra Turcu

Alexandra Turcu is MA student in Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Letters in Cluj- Napoca, within the program History of Images - History of Ideas. Her research interests include gender studies, postcolonial studies, literary theory, photography and cinema theory. As a poet, she published Celelalte produse (2015). Her reviews were published in cultural magazines in Romania, such as Poesis International, Echinox, Zona Nouă, Bookaholic, or Steaua. In 2016, she attented the Romanian Cultural Institute’s Translation Workshop in Sweden, where she translated poems of Sevi Kumral.
