Henry Sussman

Henry Sussman is Professor of Germanic Languages and Literatures at Yale University and the author of the well-known The Aesthetic Contract (1997). The most recent of his many books are Playful Intelligence: Digitizing Tradition (2014), Around the Book: Systems and Literacy (2011), Idylls of the Wanderer: Outside in Literature and Theory (2007) and The Task of the Critic: Poetics, Philosophy, Religion (2005). He is founding editor of Feedback, Open Humanities Press (www.openhumanitiespress.org/feedback), co-edited with Jason Groves.
