Ramona Hărşan

Ramona Hărşan is currently an untenured senior lecturer at “Transilvania” University of Braşov. Her main research interests in the area of comparative literature and cultural studies are contemporary literary representations of identity, moral identity and ethics-related issues in the 20th and 21st century Romanian and European fiction. She obtained a fellowship and a doctoral degree for a thesis exploring Mircea Nedelciu’s representations of ethics and identity (October 2010- October 2013) and finished a postdoctoral research on the construction of alternative moral identities in Eastern-European fiction during the second half of the 20th century (October 2015). She has published several articles in peer reviewed journals, chapters in academic volumes and conference proceedings and is presently preparing her thesis for publication.
