Cristina Diamant

Cristina Diamant, PhD candidate in English literature at Babeș-Bolyai University. She is a member of the Ekphrasis Centre for Transdisciplinary, Liberal Arts and Creative Technologies Research, as well as assistant editor for the Metacritic Journal for Comparative Studies and Theory. Her academic interests include literary and cultural theory, materialist feminism, posthuman studies, pop culture, and sociolinguistics, especially in the context of investigating various representations of otherness. Author of literary reviews for Cultura (2013-2014) and studies in collective volumes of proceedings for national international conferences. Her translation of ”Crazy Jane Talks to the Bishop” has been published in the international volume ”Yeats Reborn”, the result of a European-wide project run by the European Federation of Associations and Centres of Irish Studies (EFACIS).
