Karl Ågerup
Karl Ågerup is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at Södertörn University, Sweden. His academic works primarily revolve around issues related to reception theory and to political debates surrounding French literature of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Furthermore, his research delves into exploring the educational potential of historically contextualized novels from that era. Ågerup’s most recent monographs are Critical Responses to the Nobel Prize in Literature (Edwin Mellen Press 2022) and Using Fiction to Teach Secondary Students about the Middle East (Palgrave Macmillan 2023).
