Liviu Pop

Liviu Pop, Ph.D., is researcher at the Institute “The Folklore Archive of the Romanian Academy”, Cluj, Romania. His research interests are digital archives, digitization, long term digital preservation, the history of digital technologies, analog - digital - postdigital cultures, the philosophy of technology, digital anthropology, archives roles in society, dark archives, open archives, digital humanities. Member of DigiHUBB and Europeana Connect, he published articles on digitization and the role of the archives in society.
