Ranit Ray is a PhD research scholar of English in Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University, Purulia and a State Aided College Teacher in Netaji Satabarshiki Mahavidyalaya, North 24 parganas. He has participated in workshops and field visits in Sundarbans and published papers on Environmental Humanities in peer reviewed journals. His research interests include Ecocriticism, Indian Writing in English, Literature and Philosophy and Critical Theory.
Samrat Sengupta is Associate Professor, Dept. of English, Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University. His research interests include Experimental Bengali Literature. Gender studies, Post- structuralism, Memory Studies and Posthumanism. He has Guest edited a special issue of the international journal Sanglap on “Caste in Humanities”. He has authored a Bengali monograph titled Pratibader Pathokrom (Syllabi of Resistance). His co-edited volume Nabarun Bhattacharya: Aesthetics and Politics in a World after Ethics has been published from Bloomsbury. He is one of the founding members of Indian Posthumanism Network.
