Ana-Maria Deliu is a B.A. in History of Ideas – History of Imageries at the Comparative Literature Department, Babeș-Bolyai University. Her research interests include posthumanities, critical theory, cultural studies and fiction theory. Her contributions to books are ”Unmasked Bodies: Materialist and Post-Constructivist Approaches in Feminist Theory” (under press at Casa Cărții de Știință) and ”Deconstructing Worlds: History and Metafiction in Julian Barnes’ A History of the World” (Casa Cărții de Știință, 2016). Recent publications include ”The Anthropocene and the Global Environmental Crisis” (2017), ”Theoretical Cores in Posthumanism” (2017), „Postponed funeral. On the Humanities Crisis” (2017). Editor-in-chief of Echinox cultural magazine and editor of Metacritic Journal for Comparative Studies and Theory. Member of the Scientific and Organising Board at AFAM, Centre for Applied Philosophy, UBB (2017-present). Member of CSPA performance structure at UBB (2016-2017) and recipient of a one-time performance fellowship from the same university (2015-2016). Laura T. Ilea published two novels (The Cartography of the Other World, Humanitas, 2018), Western Women Have no Honour (L’Harmattan, 2015), a book of short stories (L’Harmattan, 2009), and research volumes on literature and philosophy such as Canadian Literature in Infrared. On Feminine Nihilism (Tracus Arte, 2015), Literature and Blindness Paradigms – Orhan Pamuk, Ernesto Sábato, José Saramago (Honoré Champion, 2013), Life and Its Shadow. Martin Heidegger and the Existential Foundation of Knowledge (Idea Publishing House, 2007). She published articles in different journals (RES. Anthropology and Aesthetics, Terra Nova, Lettre Internationale, Studia Phaenomenologica, Investigaciones Fenomenológicas, Hermeneia, Ekphrasis, Inflexions, Caietele Echinox, Observator Cultural, Steaua) and conducted several research stages in Europe (Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg i.Br., Maison des Sciences de l’Homme and Panthéon-Sorbonne I in Paris) and in Canada (Université de Montréal, McGill University and Concordia University). She is currently Associate Professor in Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Letters in Cluj-Napoca, Visiting Researcher at the SenseLab, Concordia University, and member of the Center for Planetary Cultural and Literary Studies, Université de Montréal.
